fall has brought a big case of autumnal antsyness to our house! i guess autumn has really gotten to us this year. it is hard to embody all that is pure and wonderful about this time of the year...so it has to come out somehow...
...it seems like everyone in our house is feeling the sweet freedom of cooler temperatures, crispy leaves underfoot, and the sweet air all around.
it is contagious i say.

what to do with all this madness...i present to you...a peek into autumnal bliss...sorich style...
...crunch leaves. lots of them. matilda can't get enough!...
...collect autumnal treasures...always a stick, a leaf, and a rock...
...wear woodland elf hat...new one this year...she is definitely turning into a little girl!
...just to make it through the day you have to dress like a princess...and say your prayers..."all by myself, mom!!"...and sometimes at the same time...
...don't forget to motor everywhere...and inspect everything...he is getting to be so big...
...we must play together...and run amuck in the bath...seriously cute and crazy!
...get new teeth while you're at it...chew on everything...and eat all kinds of yummy goodness...all.the.time!
...play with your friends...and insist on dressing yourself. what is going on here? very cute! and i love this picture of matilda and everett. they are such sweet friends and look so grown up playing connect 4...who told them they could grow up?
...and her outfit today. which i must say is very cute! i never would have picked it, but she matches and it looks very matildaish! she even threw in a headband. i couldn't be more proud!
...even at bedtime you must have one final moment of autumnal antsyness...this is what we found the other night...serious belly laughs on our part!
...and this boy...who sleeps like this? he has to have a little nest to fall asleep...and then proceeds to scoot all the way down to the end of the crib throughout the night. 
so, there it is...a true prescription for autumnal antsyness... and just a little sample of our daily life...we love running amuck!

Your children are just beautiful! Could that boy be any more charming? I love M's pick for her outfit - how cute - and SO her (even though I've only seen pics, it looks just like her). And the photo of her saying her prayers all by herself is absolutely precious.
I love that elf hat of hers. And that Charlie is so handsome! Such cuteness abounding at your house!

So cute! I put Rhett's old elf hat on him a few times. A bit snug but does the job!
Matilda looked darling dressing herself. Can't say the same for Everett and HE doesn't dress himself! Black striped socks, red pants, blue shirt? Was I blind?
