valentine's day

our day has been pretty uneventful...but nice. we got phone calls from nana and papa, and the nc crew. avery told matilda that the valentine's fairy came to their house and that valentine's day was the best holiday ever! we think that is cool! growing up my mom would always give us a card and our favorite candy and a little sampler box of chocolates on our pillow for valentine's. after taking a poll of the siblings...we have decided that we all loved it and we will continue this tradition in our own family! we also got cards from grandma sorich and elizabeth swidersky. how very nice!

david thought his big v-day present to us was that he worked from home today....we're not quite sure if that cuts it, but we're still up for being wowed by his love! to his credit, he did start a fire for us today and made the house all warm and toasty. we loved it! it truly was nice to spend this snowy day together as a family. hope your day was just as great! happy valentine's day!
