the reunion of the London 4...minus 1!
We missed you Myers clan!!
But, it was still an amazing time!
We loved staying with some of our greatest friends while we were in London. They were all nice enough to host us for a few nights each...and we are soooo grateful. Like I always say...you really don't get the full effect of the Sorich's unless you have the great luck to be with them 24/7!!! They were so lucky!! Seriously....we loved every second with them. It was so fun to talk until the wee hours, watch our favorite shows, laugh till our sides hurt, learn from each other, serve with each other, and just be together.
To begin we stayed with the Amazing Allgaier's (very famous!). They treated us to a live harp concert by the very talented Emsley, cleaning the kitchen at Helping Hands, the official Sunday pancakes, a crazy difficult puzzle festival, a beautiful organ wake up call,a great night out to Gaucho Grill, free babysitting by Chelsea, a sneak peak at the school yearbook, and the best front row seat to the "baby bird show" we have ever had! I think I need to bear my testimony!!
When we saw all our old friends at church they kept asking if we were moving back...we wished!! Maybe someday. For now, we have to be content in knowing that we still have lots of people who love us and remember us there. It was funny. One woman who is only living there for a short time asked me if we even still knew people there, since we had been gone for 5 years. And...crazy enough, we do! It was so amazing to me how many friends we still have there. We just really loved our time there. It is so fun to go back and see where people are, how they have grown and changed. I saw a lot of my old Primary kids, who are all now teenagers. It was crazy! They grow so much in 5 years. But, they are all doing amazingly well. It was really funny to have people say, "I heard your voice, and I knew it was you". Kind of like coming home again. It was great! David even got to bless the sacrament at Hyde Park...just like old times!
Next, it was on to the Super Stokes residence. They are so cool! SDK!! T3LCO!! Matilda and Ivy were fast friends as we always dreamed they would be! They were two little miracle girls together at last. It was very amazing to me! Ivy was so nice to her friend. She gave up her bed, toys, food, Svan chair, poopy bathtub, Playskool DVD, stroller, and the list goes on. Plus, her parents are pretty cool too!
Tim and Ali totally know that we need the Wagamama, love Arrested Development (Bob Loblaw), are happy hanging out in our pj's, needed to do our laundry, were fine sleeping on the crazy air mattress, hog the computer, love to get out and shop and walk around, play, talk, cook, chat about craftiness forever, and make them wreck the mini!!
HP Primary Presidency....together again...it was a great meeting...loved the chocolate goo cake!!
...Lara, Alison Stokes (plus baby #2!!), and Alyssa Allgaier
well...Bishop Stokes, the "famous" David Allgaier, and David
Matilda and her best buddy Ivy...plus SDK!!
2 shopped out friends on the bus in the Phil and Ted's....so cute!! They loved the Designer's Guild!!
Muffinski's and the meeting in the secret garden at Covent Garden
We love you guys!! Thank you so much for such and amazing time!
We can't wait for the next trip....Down Under...here we come!!
