o holy chocolate!
i mean honestly!
we have now discovered chocolate. i knew this day would come, but really...so soon?!! this girl is a force to be reckoned with! and i'm sorry to say that she comes by this problem naturally and genetically....AH!!
and in my motherly defense, if there is such a thing, she is getting her 1 year molars...and it is not at all easy or pretty. she is such a great girl, but she is struggling! and so, we have some days with hunger strikes, so if the food has to be chocolate coated, then so be it!
case in point! that thing didn't stand a chance!
see, the genetic thing! she trained her papa this week to fetch her M & M's (and ice cream) on command...pretty smart for only being 1!!
plus we didn't stand a chance being so close to the chocolate lovers mecca/holyland...Hershey, PA...i think i just gave in!
it was bound to happen sooner or later. being that it is EVERYWHERE!
this little monkey girl even learned where the candy dish was at nana's and just started standing on her tippy-toes and reaching in to help herself.
and, i being the fabulous mother....documented what happens when you take that CHOCOLATE away...
...i mean, come on, i had to start setting some boundaries! thank goodness she is so cute! i'm sure that this is just the beginning of things...now, the next lesson is MODERATION!!

Oh, this is too funny. Briar too has discovered chocolate lately. Her addiction comes in the form of 'mmm nmmmms!' I hear this chosen phrase screamed at me almost hourly! chocolate is also her treat/food/staple of choice when she's teething...but who can blame her?
smart girl. and yes, evan and lily just beg for treats. i have now moved the treats on top of a hutch in the dining room since lily can now access the top of the fridge.
Loving the picture of the tantrum. One day she will look back on it and laugh when you tell her all about when you took that picture because she was screaming for chocolate and she'll say, "Mom, I was such a silly baby sometimes." Of course, I speak from experience. I love tantrum pictures of my kids and all of them LOVE to hear the stories of their brattiness. Good times, I tell you.
Where did she come from? What a girl. Love it.
Like mother like daughter, right?
