charlie boy...

...is almost 11 weeks old! i can't believe how time has gone by so quickly! but, i must say, i've enjoyed every minute of it!

so, a little about our guy...

...he loves to smile! constantly proving to us that he has his own personality and totally different from his sister! this boy will smile and make you melt until the cows come home!



...his favorite place to be...the sling! the BEST thing i ever purchased as a mother! both of my kids have spent countless hours {and miles} being in the sling! what a lifesaver! i don't think i would ever get anything done without it! and matilda even traveled europe in hers...plus, it is a great workout for mom...who still needs to lose that baby weight! hidden exercise...love it!



...proving that he is the same boy that i carried in my womb for 9ish months...he LOVES to kick! he will exercise those legs while he lays on the bed, bounce himself in his bouncy chair, and stand up straight and tall...with a little help from mom and dad.



....charlie loves to eat! he is a great nurser...which is nice, because his sister loved her some bottles! what a difference! but, this also means he loves to suck! we just can't find a pacifier which will actually pacify him and meet his incredibly high standards...so that makes soothing difficult sometimes. luckily he only gets really fussy when he is tired or wants to eat...so one of those always has a happy ending for him! i am also just waiting for him to remember that he has fingers and a thumb and start sucking those...till then he is content with his hands and the meager pacifiers that we shove in there from time to time.



...he is so strong! for a little guy, he sure packs a big punch! i just can't believe how much he loves to move and be active...i'm a little scared for the future! he holds his head up, pushes his chest up off the bed, and has already rolled over a few times on his own. he also has quite the serious side when he is concentrating and trying to figure things out! isn't he handsome??!!



...and he's quite the little charmer and ladies man! he loves his mama, much to the disappointment of his dad right now. it makes it a little hard to leave him sometimes. so, i have definitely landed myself a new little boyfriend! which, i secretly LOVE on some level...matilda was and is such a daddy's girl! and charlie lights up when matilda is near! he loves when she takes time from her busy life to stop by and converse and play with him. i can already tell that he will follow her to the ends of the earth...true love!
