the pop shoppe

i've been dying to go to our favorite pop shoppe for a while now...and what a better way to start summer! plus, i'm working on a little project for father's day {more on that later} that required a visit to Hosmer! so, off we went for a fun adventure on our family night.



i love the feeling of supporting a local business. and the staff was so sweet to us while we were there! we've been going to Hosmer Soda since we moved here. it was one of our first outings in the community. so fun...not to mention delicious! some of our family favorites...orange, cream soda, root beer, and lime rickey!



it may sound like a little event, but it was an adventure to us! we are just starting to venture out as a family of 4, and it is definitely different. instead of four adult eyes on one child, we are now in a one on one situation. and miss matilda, with her love of organizing, was dying to rearrange all the bottles. it was so funny to watch her try to govern herself...she desperately wanted to touch them all and make them the same, but KNEW she shouldn't.



she did really well though! only part of our haul!



i can't wait to go back again! what a fun family tradition!
