our first snow day...
...started with sweet service from our neighbor Dennis. i love that we live in the country...with neighbors who have plows and other handy things...and that Dennis brought me his copy of "Pennsylvania Magazine" this week just because he thought i would appreciate it as much as he did.
have i mentioned how much i love our neighbors...
and who knew that Terminix would show up right on time today since everything else was closed? now that is service!
...with charlie's first outing in the snow...he's not sure about all this stuff...but he looks warm and rosy. i love those cheeks...and i eat them often. i'm sure my children are quite sick of me cuddling them so much. i just can't help myself!
...and the happiest girl around the town...finally SNOW!! she is so cute jumping and hopping in the snow...like a little arctic bunny...i love it!
...two munchkins ready for some fun...
...the first snow angel of the year. matilda just plopped down and started creating...it was very cute! we've been reading this every night this week...so i'm sure that helped to get her in the spirit of a winter wonderland. plus, i was totally impressed!
...and into warm winter booties knit by a loving friend from our church congregation.
...one sweet boy all warmed up and ready to play.
...one little girl who came in the door all rosy cheeked and demanding hot chocolate with whipped cream. which...funny enough...i had brewing on the stove.

looks like lots of fun...much better than our slush with no school delay! Love you all bunches!
your snow day ALMOST makes me want to go out in our snow....oh yeah! it hasn't crept above freezing all week. It's like we live in the artic here.....i'm already sick of winter and it's not even Janary. It's going to be a long one baby. but, your blog always brings me some cheer...thanks!
Oh...I love all the good things about snow. Especially coming in to warm hot chocolate. You good mama, you. And also, Charlie's knit slippers are awesome. You have such a fantastic sense of style...love it. And also, in your previous post, your hair does not look grey. Although I hear your cluckin'...mine's getting a couple areas where there's a nice big grey streak. :) And you're right that Taylor Swift can't sing.
I would like to get in on the cheek eating action!
