easter...part one...
i know...i am so behind in blogging...it is ridiculous...i have no excuse...we've just been having lots of fun and not documenting it.
so, i offer you a little treat...
some yummy homemade peanut butter eggs. seriously...they were so good! luckily they are gone now...given away to family and friends...and too many eaten by me {see that hole in the tray there??}! thank you neila for giving me the recipe! what a treasure! i think it will become my new Easter tradition.
now that i have lured you back to my blog...i will vow to become a more regular writer. i will try to do it a few times a week...promise...okay?...on to business...
we started our Easter celebrations with chocolate pb eggs...and a very lovely egg hunt with friends. the kids had a blast...and we loved being outside on such a gorgeous day. it was so warm and lovely...a great reminder that summer is on it's way!
charlie had a head start and got his two eggs in hand right away...with the help of dad. he loved shaking them and throwing them...not a surprise!
the eager hunters ready to start their search...
they were so cute...hunting high and low...
a little girl and her basket full of eggs...
there could potentially be nothing cuter and funnier than 3 year olds discovering Easter eggs. they were saying the funniest things and shoving jelly beans in their mouth's at incredible rates. notice all the chipmunk cheeks...
i think matilda was saying that she "loves jelly beans!!!!" in this picture. i was laughing so hard at this...it was such a fun thing for them. total joy!
look at his face...seriously...so cute! he is so excited!
and the wonder of "magical money" that they found in some of the eggs...they were rich! it was such a wonderful day!
the end...
...just kidding...we had more fun...stay tuned tomorrow...
