a dog's best friend

You would think that I'm talking of a mere man, but no. Another dog, of course! This is Roxy's best bud and arch-nemesis....Skylos. He is staying with us this week because his people are on a trip to Utah. They haven't had a sleepover since Matilda was born, and I think they missed each other a little.

It is a love/hate relationship. They get along so well most of the time, but then some chasing, growling, nipping, and licking always occur. Nothing serious, mind you, all in the name of friendship!

Over the past few years we have traded dog sitting with some friends (Skylos' people, the Hinckley's) and it works out so well on saving the kennel fees and all the other jazz that goes along with that. Plus, these two really do like and tolerate each other well for the most part.
