a breakthrough...

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the molar has broken through!! hooray!! who knew i would be so happy about a tooth, but, my friends, there it is!!
a much happier miss m....back to playing and learning, laughing and eating....much better!! i guess i will just have to use this time to breathe and reboot for the next "molar of death" to come!! i'm just happy this one is over!! HOORAY for Matilda!
i thought this was so cute today. she got this little people farm for her birthday and is just now REALLY playing with it.
she has figured out that the doors and chicken make sounds when you move them and now puts her little animals in there where they belong (she has also taken to carrying the sheep and the donkey all over the house, new friends i guess!!). she is the smartest girl!! i just love her!
i sat on the couch for a long time just marveling at her and watching her little wheels turn as she played the morning away. i love being her mom!
a few things i wanted to document before i forget...
i love valentine's day! it is just a fun time to let people know how much you love them! when i was a little girl i remember being so excited to come home from school because each year my sweet mother would leave us a valentine. we ALWAYS got a Whitman's sampler...and i always savored mine!!...and sometimes a toy, some jewelry, or a new shirt. it was such a feeling of joy to know that someone cared enough to think of you. so, thanks mom and dad!!
this year valentine's day was so fun! we had playgroup at our house with some yummy heart-shaped brownies and other fun lunch items (ah...wraps!!)...always good!! then david came home and took matilda and i to Munson's, the local chocolate shoppe, so we could pick a yummy selection for ourselves (which were gone within 24 hours!!...AH!!). then we came home and matilda opened her gifts while david cooked dinner...very yummy french dip sandwiches.......AH!! it was such a great day!
two sisters sharing some v-day treats!! they are too much!
then the next evening we got to watch baby isaac...he is soooo cute!! his mom and i joke that we were "pregnancy twins" because we had very similar experiences and were preggo during the same time of year. miss m and isaac are just shy of being exactly one year apart. it was so fun to remember this time last year when matilda was doing all the same things...and what it was like to have a real "baby" around. i keep calling her a baby, but she is SO a toddler!!
matilda kept trying to show isaac all her books and toys. she really tried to be gentle...tried is the key word!! it was really funny to see her. she did get a little jealous of someone else getting the attention...it was truly a fun experience to have isaac over! hopefully his mom and dad will let him come and play again soon!!

Oh…the teeth!! I don’t know anything about it, yet. But, Hooray for Matilda!! I am so happy you are happier now! And thank you for being so nice to Isaac. I am sure he was having lots of fun with you and your mommy. We should come to visit you soon!
p.s. Matilda’s mom, can I steal Isaac’s photos from you?... Thanks!
