#3 the cape

there aren't really any words needed. i just love the poem at the end. it embodies how i feel every time i go to the sea. and i love that we get to spend it with our dear friends and with each other.

maggie and milly and molly and may
by e.e. cummings

maggie and milly and molly and may
went to the beach (to play one day)

and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles, and

milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;

and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles; and

may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone

For whatever we lose (like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

I wish i looked as good in a swim suit as Miss M. I could kill for those legs!! Looks like fun, and SO beautiful! Out here in good ol'Idaho, we are so far from that beautiful ocean, it is such a pity! I am so envious of you that are so much closer!
